The second graders are starting to finish their beautiful Laurel Burch-like Fancy Cat designs.

4-3 and 5-4 are making Clay Bears.
They just finished scoring, slipping, and joining the last pieces yesterday. We painting terra cotta slip in a few spots for accents.
They're air drying now before they go in the kiln for a bisque firing.

Second Graders finished their grid paintings of Abraham Lincoln in time to have them on display for his birthday. The wall display looks like something Andy Warhol could have created in his Pop Art style. Click here if you want to see one of my home made videos in honor of President's Day!
